Dog friendly patio! Hot chicken and fried fish sandwiches were equally incredible. Ranch fries 11/10. Pisco sour slushee 10/10.
Derive was excellent and the food was delicious. The highlights were the frozen Negroni and the Mac and Cheese. Great summer vibes here.
My father and I had a long walking tour from the West Loop to this restaurant. I ordered one Hot Chicken Sandwich for him and a Fish Sandwich for me. Plus a Fish Fries and a Chicken Nuggets. For drinks, I had a Parson's Beer and my father went with Parson's Sparking Water. We sat indoor, did not feel hot at all. The food was great and the cocktail sauce is one of the best sauces I have ever tasted. We ended up with NO food left on the table. Had a great time over there. Definitely will be back.
Such a cute patio! Our server did an excellent job taking care of us! We had the Big Dipper platter which included hush puppies, fried shrimp, chicken nuggets, fries, and all ten of their dipping sauces! Everything was hot and fresh!
Great chicken sandwich and chips. Patio and dining area looks super cool and is very clean. I will go out of my way to eat here because it's so good!
WHAT? How can you cook chicken like this? Soooo tender and juicy. I ordered salad and it's a salad nothing impressive and my kids ordered fried seafood which I never liked but my husband ordered chicken sandwich and it's so AMAZING. It's a little bit spicy for me but they do have nonspicy choice. Really, really amazing
I've eaten here before and always had a good experience but my family threw us a baby shower here last weekend and just wanted to give the staff, venue, food, all of the above a huge shout out! Awesome area for an event, open air experience with the garage doors open, private bar, picnic table set up. The wait staff was awesome (so friendly and helpful and on top of things) and the food as always was amazing. Would recommend as a dinner spot or an event spot!
This was SO GOOD! We came for brunch and sat outside on a gorgeous day, and felt miles from the city while also staying close to home. The fried chicken was juicy and not greasy, with a perfect crispiness. The slaw was a perfect compliment to their house hot sauces. Skip the hushpuppies- too dry- and go for the fries. The ranch was some of the freshest i have ever had - definitely get if youre going for a spicy chicken or layering on the hot sauce. Bring your dogs, babies, fam and friends and load up on the chicken!!
Upping my stars on Parson's Chicken & Fish as I've come back here a few times since my review and have to say that the burger continues to be one of the best items on their menu. It is a double patty smash burger - that is truly smashed. The patties are juicy, the cheese melted perfectly and the bun a perfect softness to support all the great flavors. I've always had great service here too - the bartenders are always very friendly, answer all my questions and make just the right amount of small talk during my time.
Another great time at Parson's Chicken and Fish! As always, the food was great. I tried a milkshake this time (the rest of my party got them and... I'm easily persuaded! ) and was NOT disappointed! Classic taste and the perfect size! Our server was very kind. Recently, Parsons is presenting their checks attached to these adorable new postcards! The server noticed how excited I was to receive a postcard, and I told her how I've collected them my whole life. I then mentioned that I also love to send postcards to penpals. She asked if I would like some to send to friends and brought me a WHOLE STACK! This is marketing 101, people! I'm sending Parsons postcards to ALL MY FRIENDS! Thanks again, Parsons!
